feti’i

Privacy policy

Version 1.1 — 16 July 2026 · Compliant with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018

This policy explains how feti’i collects, uses and protects personal data as part of providing the service. It applies to everyone who uses the site https://fetii.co.uk and the associated application.

Who is responsible (data controller)

Charles Eric Guerrier, sole trader (micro-entrepreneur), 11 impasse du Champ, 46210 Saint-Cirgues, France. SIRET 500 763 974 00028. Contact: hi@fetii.co.uk.

For the personal data of the teacher's own students, the teacher is the data controller and feti’i acts as a processor on the teacher's behalf (see « Students' data » below and the Terms of Use).

What data we process

CategoryDataSource
Teacher account data Email address, first name, last name (optional), connection IP address, browser user-agent, connection dates and times Provided directly by the teacher when registering or using the service
Students' data (within a studio) First name, last name (optional), phone (optional), email (optional), any notes, attendance history and class-pass payment history Entered by the teacher, who is the controller for their own students

Why we process it (purposes)

Lawful basis

The teacher's data is processed on the basis of performance of the contract entered into when the terms are accepted (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR). For students' data, the purposes are determined by the teacher in the course of their professional activity; feti’i acts as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 UK GDPR, under the processing terms set out in the Terms of Use. Connection logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

Payment data

Payments are handled by Stripe in two cases: (a) the teacher's subscription to feti’i, and (b) online payment of class passes by students, when the studio enables that option.

Card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure interfaces and never pass through feti’i, which neither sees nor stores them. feti’i only keeps technical identifiers (customer, subscription or payment reference) to link a payment to the right account.

For student payments, the studio is paid directly into its own Stripe account (via Stripe Connect); feti’i acts only as a technical intermediary and receives none of those funds.

Who receives the data

Data is only disclosed to:

No data is ever sold, rented or exchanged for commercial or advertising purposes.

International transfers

Data is stored on servers located in the European Union. Transfers from the UK to the EU/EEA are covered by the UK's adequacy regulations for the EEA. Stripe may process certain data outside the UK and the EEA (including in the United States); such transfers are made with the appropriate safeguards required by the UK GDPR — namely the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any applicable adequacy framework.

How long we keep it

Security

Data is stored on servers located in the European Union. Communications with the site are encrypted with TLS (HTTPS). No passwords are stored (authentication is by sign-in link). Backups are made daily by the hosting provider.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights over your personal data:

To exercise these rights, write to hi@fetii.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are a student, your point of contact is normally your teacher, who is the controller for your data; feti’i will assist them as processor.

If you believe your data is not being handled in accordance with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), ico.org.uk. Because the operator is established in France, the French supervisory authority (CNIL, www.cnil.fr) may also be competent.

Carpooling between students (optional)

If your studio enables carpooling, and only if you use it, feti’i shares some of your data with another student so you can arrange a journey together:

Lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR), given when you publish or respond to an offer. You can withdraw it at any time by cancelling your offer or request.

Retention: carpooling listings and the shared details are deleted automatically the day after the session. Purpose: putting you in contact for the journey only; feti’i is not a party to the journey and does not use this data for any other purpose.

Seeing who is enrolled in a session (optional)

Some studios enable a feature that lets students see who is enrolled in the same session. This feature relies on double consent and never exposes your data without your agreement:

Lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR), given by ticking the box in your account. You can withdraw it at any time by unticking it: you then stop appearing.
